Crime City Hackers and Cheating Among Top Syndicates

The Beater Crew - 2 man top 25 team cheating

One person, or two?  Either way, this cheating syndicate The Beater Crew managed a Top 25 finish in West Side Standoff by hacking influence points and who knows what else, and openly admitted to it in a thread in GREE's Crime City Forum.  The thread was locked, and CJ54 promises GREE "will fully investigate" the issue.

Guess which syndicates are back in the spotlight for Terms of Service (ToS) violations?  If you guessed FIGHT CLUB, Rogues Gallery, and Silent Assassins, you are correct!  View this thread regarding the development of third-party application databases to store and monitor un-encrypted data sent to devices by GREE, about other players.  After many players from top teams admitting to knowing and using the player database tools, a short, simple answer that this violates ToS was posted and the thread was locked.  Now... will GREE actually do anything about the ToS violations?

MWWM / The GoTTis - Most Obvious Crime City Cheaters

During the Civic Center Event in July, 2013, several members of a syndicate called MWWM PrOsPeCtZ were exposed publicly as not only cheaters, but the head of a cheating network that would systematically hack money, respect points, and gold, then buy max bonuses, and move on to the next syndicate in their network.  They taught untold numbers of players how to cheat.

The results of this exposure by the Crime City community were deleted from GREEs forum after nearly over 30,000 views of the evidence.  Furthermore, GREE banned players involved in the exposure.  GREE also allowed the syndicate a name change to GoTTis ReVenGe.  You can read through the remaining, locked thread here.

The team was allowed to continue competing and earned a top rank in the Battle for Monument Park, despite the volumes of proof and complaints presented to their customer support team.

GoTTis still on leader board

Yet another serious report of alleged account hacking and cheating has surfaced in the GREE Crime City forum in May, 2013.  As expected, GREE has locked the topic without public response.  Read the locked topic here:

The community is calling for GREE to take swift and decisive actions to remove the offending players from the game, and make reports to proper authorities if the allegations are found to be based in truth.  Cheating is wrong.  Accessing a device without authorization is illegal in many places.

If the allegations are false, the same type of swift action should be taken against those submitting the false reports and making the accusations.  GREE, DO NOT SIT ON YOUR HANDS ON THIS ONE!

As of August, 2013, nothing has been done about this, and GREE still refuses to answer questions regarding the outcome of their investigation.
